The Millennium Dancesport Championships will be at the beautiful Renaissance Vinoy in St. Petersburg, FL-501 5th Ave. N, St. Petersburg, FL 33701. The dates are June 24-29, 2008. We advise you to make your session and hotel reservations early as we did sell out last year. If you are dancing in a session make sure that tickets for that session are ordered for both the professional and the amateur.
We are only making reservations at the Vinoy this year for our package holders. If you are not a package holder, contact us and we will put you on a waiting list for a room at the Vinoy. We will be happy to assist you in making reservations at the area hotels. We have a corporate rate at the Hilton Bayfront and will have shuttle services from there to the Vinoy. Preference for seating and hotel will be given to package holders. In order to secure hotel rooms and seating, balances must be paid 2 weeks prior to the event.
Pro Am Schedule - Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and Wednesday Day - American Rhythm; Thursday day and evening - American Ballroom; Friday day and evening - International Standard; Saturday Day and Evening - International Latin. For more details see the tentative schedule...
New at Millennium this year:
1. Best of Best Show Dance - Bronze, Silver and Gold levels - 1 age. The winners will compete at the Ohio Star Ball in the Best of Best Championships against the winners in the other dance styles.
2. Rising Star Pro Am Division - Bronze levels -To enter you must never have placed in the final of that level and dance at the Millennium.
3. Pro Am American 9 Dance and Pro Am International 10 Dance.
